Post-GamerFest Updates and Upcoming Plans
This week has been a whirlwind!
How was our week?
We started by recovering from GamerFest, which was an incredible experience.
We had two stands at the show: one for “Ventilate” at the Scattergood Studios Castle and another for “Crystal Edge: Retribution” at the eir stand. Thanks to the eir team for their amazing support and to Stuart and his team for inviting us again to the expo.
Our teams from Broken Brains and Ventilate were present, along with Sophie, our PR manager, who was busy with interviews and capturing content for social media. After two days of non-stop action, we were exhausted but thrilled by the positive feedback from players who loved both games. It was great to see so many players actively engaging with us, providing valuable feedback that will help us improve our games.
Post-show, we focused on fixing the last few bugs in both games. Although they are close to shipping, we want to ensure they are polished and professional. We’re also exploring the possibility of licensing some heavy metal music—stay tuned for updates on that! This could add an exciting new dimension to our games, making them even more immersive and engaging.
Next, we are working on getting the Steam pages for both games up and running. The page for “Crystal Edge” is almost ready; we’re just waiting on the trailer video. We’ll start on the “Ventilate” page soon. Having these pages live will allow players to wishlist the games, helping us build momentum before launch. Meanwhile, we’re also promoting “The Gauntlet” on social media to keep the buzz going for our other projects.
At the show we ran into lots of cool characters including AntiTinkerbell who became the official Queen of the Castle for the weekend.
